Through the single-gender structure, The B.E.S.T. Academy High School at Benjamin S. Carson strives to shape its students into well-rounded young men who are prepared to meet demands that are inevitable in an ever-changing global society.  As one of Atlanta Public Schools' first single-gender high schools, coupled with the small learning communities environment design, B.E.S.T. is destined to be more effective in preparing students for post-secondary opportunities.

  • Superintendent Search Committee community meetings

    The Superintendent Search Committee will hold community meetings at schools in every cluster. The purpose of the meetings is to obtain input regarding the profile for the next superintendent.  The meeting dates and locations are listed below. All meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

     

    ·       May 15: North Region meetings will be held at Harper-Archer MS, the Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy and Sutton MS.

    ·       May 16: South Region meetings will be held at Long MS and Price MS.

    ·       May 20: West Region meetings will be held at Brown MS, Bunche MS and Young MS.

    ·       May 21: East Region meetings will be held at Inman MS and King MS.
