School Zone Boundaries The official zone boundary for each elementary, middle, and high school is established by the Atlanta Board of Education. For the purpose of determining the zoned school for a residence, Atlanta Public Schools (APS) uses the legal address indicated in tax records for the residence.

School Supply Lists Each APS school creates its own school supply list in preparation for Day One. Visit our list of schools to view school websites and supply lists. APS offers a vibrant preschool program for students who are 4 years old on or before September 1. For more information, visit the APS Pre-K website. Single Gender Academies
Parents of currently enrolled APS students and non-residents of the City of Atlanta may apply for the singlewide academies during the open application period. Priority will be given to students residing in Boyd, F.L. Stanton, Scott, Grove Park/Woodson attendance zones. Transportation is not provided for students to the single gender academies unless the student resides in the Boyd, F. L. Stanton, Scott, Grove Park/Woodson attendance zones. Grandfathering and Rezoning
The Atlanta Board of Education passed zoning changes and closures schools beginning SY2012-2013. This decision impacts groups of students across the district. While not all students have been impacted, a quick reference chart is available which outlines how the grandfathering and rezoning impacts each group of students. |
