Greetings Parents, Staff, Students and Community members. As we move into the month of December, we will focus heavily on safety for our students. Here at G.A. Towns we realize that in order for teachers to teach and students to learn we must provide a safe, clean and orderly environment.

Our goal is to ensure that we continue to provide an exemplary instructional program in a safe and constructive environment - before, during and after school. To this end, we are reminding parents that the building is not open for students until 7:30 am unless prior arrangements have been made with Mrs. Torrey. Teachers' and staff members' official work day begins at 7:30 am, therefore no personnel is available to supervise early students. Please do not drop students off or send them to school before 7:30 am.

In order to keep students and staff safe and secure during the school day, it is mandatory that all visitors report to the office, sign in and obtain a visitor's pass.

Finally, to ensure that all students leave the campus and return home safely, we are requesting that parents respect the directions given by staff members on duty and observe the placement of the safety cones in the afternoon. Also, please be considerate of other students and parents as you pick your child up in the afternoon.
