Greetings,

Hello!  The Third Grade Team wishes to extend a warm welcome to our students, parents and the community.  We have been very busy growing in many ways and learning new things.  The 2012-2013 school year is off to a dynamic start.  We have learned so much since August.  From the regions of Georgia in science, to mulitiplication and division in math, to the foundation of our democracy in the United States during social studies . . . And just think, we are only getting started!

Have we met? . . . If you have not met your child's teacher as of yet, come on down to Dobbs. We would love to see you and share some of the many wonderful things that we have been doing.  As our partner in the education of your child, we relish the opportunities we get to keep you informed.  Please make an appoinment to come and visit with us.

Did you know? . . . We reserve the last Wednesday of each month for conferences.  Please come and have your questions answered and discuss concerns about your child's academic progress.  We have classwork samples for you to view, tests, writing samples, mini-projects and much more.  We can also suggest resources and give strategies for you to use with your child at home.
