The Leader in Me

"The Leader in Me" is an innovative, schoolwide model that emphasizes a culture of student empowerment and helps unleash each child's full potential. Applying "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," teachers and students internalize timeless leadership principles that nurture the skils students need for success in the 21st century.

D. H. Stanton Elementary is the first school in Atlanta Public Schools to commit to this method of school culture change. Final faculty training will be held during September, 2012, and a full roll-out of the program will be in January, 2013.
