Registration for returning students

Dear Parent,

Mary Lin will be re-registering students for the 2010-2011 school year. All returning students MUST be re-registered. This process is necessary in order to update all student records and accurately plan for the upcoming school year.

Re-registration dates are listed according to rising grade levels:

• May 3^rd – May 7^th (Grades K & 1^st) 9:00 – 2:00
• May 10^th – May 14^th (Grades 2^nd & 3^rd) 9:00 – 2:00
• May 17^th – May 21^st (Grades 4^th & 5^th) 9:00 – 2:00

PLEASE DO NOT COME BEFORE 9:00 TO RE-REGISTER.

You may register siblings at the same time. If you miss the week of your designated week for registration, you may register your child during the summer months of June 7^th – July 30^th Monday – Thursday.

The following items are required for re-registration and must be submitted in person by the parent/legal guardian:

• Notarized affidavit of residency on each child
• Deed/mortgage statement or lease. Address must be on statement/deed or lease
• Original Georgia Power bill (must be within 30 days of enrollment date)
• Voided check with address or a Current Driver's License with address
• Signed Compulsory attendance letter

Having all these items in hand will expedite the process and enable us to schedule your child for the 2010 – 2011 school year. You must bring original documentation. We will make copies of the material you provide. Once all documentation has been provided your child will be placed on a class list. Class lists will be posted July 30^th on the front doors of the school at 3:00.

If you are not planning to return to Mary Lin, please notify Mrs. Huff (twhuff@atlanta.k12.ga.usor 404-802-8850) so that your child will not be scheduled in upcoming classes.
